How does the Truce Wrap work?
It's shaped like a soft brief. The velcro waistband goes around your waist, and the heated panel covers your lower belly and runs between your legs to your lower back. Plug it in, pick your heat level, and switch on the massage or the red glow if you want them.
Is it wireless?
No. The Truce Wrap plugs into the wall, so it's made for the couch and the bed. We'd rather tell you now than have you find out when it arrives.
Will it fit me?
It's one size, with an adjustable velcro waistband. Every order also comes with a free extender strap for a more comfortable fit.
What does the red light do?
It's a soft red glow built into the panel. We include it because it's cozy, and we don't make health claims about it.
How do I clean it?
Unplug it and detach the controller first. Spot clean gently with a damp cloth and let it air dry. Never put it in water or in the washing machine.
Using it safely
How should I wear it?
Over leggings or sleep shorts, never directly on bare skin. Start on the lowest setting. Low is often plenty.
Can I sleep in it?
Please don't. Switch it off before you fall asleep. Long contact with heat can burn skin, even on a low setting.
Who shouldn't use it?
Skip it on broken, irritated or numb skin. If you're pregnant, have reduced feeling in your skin (for example, from diabetes), or have a medical condition, ask your doctor before using heat. If your skin stings or turns bright red, take it off and let your skin cool.
Does it help with endometriosis?
Truce is made for comfort and isn't intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition. Lots of people use heat for comfort on painful days. If your periods are severe or getting worse, please see a doctor. Severe pain isn't something you have to just live with.
